Where I will be living...
Boseong South Korea is where I will be living in a few short weeks! Boseong County is a county in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. Boseong is famous for it's green tea leaves.
The school I will be teaching at is called Miryeok Elementary School. I will be teaching English to K-6th graders.The school consists of about 50 students all together and my largest class will be about 8 students. Being that this will be my first year teaching I feel very blessed to be able to teach at a small school with very friendly and helpful co-teachers. I have been talking to the teacher I will be replacing and she has been such a blessing in my life. She will still be in the area when I arrive and is willing to help me through the transition of moving and with the school and curriculum. Knowing that there is someone there to help me through this process makes me feel so much better about moving. Check out her blog and look at the pictures of the school I will be teaching at.... I get my own apartment through the school. It is one bedroom with a large kitchen, a large living room, bathroom (with bathtub) and terrace. It is a 25 min bike ride or a 10 min walk and 15 min bus ride to the school.
I am getting even more excited about moving! I already know that I am going to fall in love with the Country and people! So if I never want to leave you have been warned :)
