It is exactly six days until I board the plane to Korea. The realization that this is my last week in Portland, Oregon has not actually sunk in. I am just kind of going through the motions of everyday life and spending time with my family and friends before I leave. On Friday August 3rd I had a farewell party with my close friends.
One of my favorite things to do is decorating and planning parties. So when I decided I was going to have a farewell party I started brain storming right away. Here is what my party looked like:

The Party Favors
So when I decided to do party favors for my guest I wanted it to be gifts surrounded around Korea. What my guests received was sesame cookies, green tea, and a card with a origami heart made from a Korean newspaper and personal contact information so that we can keep in touch. I like how they turned out and think they look cute and taste yummy!
You cannot have a party with out a photo booth! My friend Richell made the fabulous photo props and leant me her cute vintage luggage.
The party was fantastic! I am truly blessed to have such wonderful friends to share my adventures with and will deeply miss them. The night was filled with laughter, joy and of course crazy mustaches!
